I'm writing this one at 11:23, because I am fully incapable of keeping promises to myself, and am a professional procrastinator. I had both a pre-lab and a lab report due tonight at midnight, and we're not even done with the lab report as I'm writing this, I'm waiting for the other two to finish the parts they're working on, because I'm fully unable to help with it.

The main thing I learned from this lab is that my professor for the class before this absolutely doomed me, for all time. The class before this is EE228, which is one of the "weeder classes", because it's a bunch of very difficult math (Fourier and Laplace transforms, but applied to physical circuits). The average in my class was 56%. I got a 63%, and that was a flat B. One of the labs I'm in right now, EE 368, is the lab for the follow-up to that class, and is going to need some serious learning on my part to be able to keep up. There were genuinely multiple things in this lab report that I had never seen before that were supposed to be review. My labmates are great, so they did the hard parts and I stuck to the formatting and word-vomit, but when I'm reading the textbook to try and understand something that I was supposed to learn last year, something has gone seriously wrong.

Something else has gone seriously wrong, that we're working on it literally 15 minutes before the deadline, but that's just kind of how engineering goes sometimes. We definitely won't be making this mistake with the next lab (which is tomorrow), because we fully didn't work on it until 9PM, it would have been easy enough to get it done last week sometime, or even during the lab time last week.
