104: This Changes Everything

This is a really terrible photo of Cody, one of my closest friends, from the 2024 Collegiate Wind Competition. It doesn't relate at all, besides maybe the fact that I went to TRON: Ares with him.

This Changes Everything is a song on the TRON: Ares soundtrack, and I'm naming it mostly for the reference, but that entire soundtrack is SO GOOD. The modern TRON movies are unironically carried by their soundtracks, Legacy with Daft Punk, and Ares with Nine Inch Nails. They're both great movies, and I loved Ares in theaters, but the soundtracks are the driving force of their greatness, which I will not stand slander on. There has been some internet discourse about how Ares is Bad, actually, but I won't allow it. Most of that conversation comprises of people that have not seen the movie, basing their opinions on the fact that Jared Leto is in it (because he has been in a number of very bad movies in the past), but I actually think his performance as the titular Ares is very good.
