79: "So you can still have the drip, and have the protection"

The title of this post is a quote from one of the residents of my building, talking about how I wear my watch over my wrist brace when I'm skating. He called it "the sickest thing (he's) ever seen", which was funny.

I also got complimented on "wearing protection" on the way to get dinner (the above happened on the way back), a girl cheered my helmet when I skated past, which was nice. There's some stigma around wearing protective equipment that I've been entirely ignoring, and it's nice to have people validate that choice, because I know it's the right one.
