9: Another Day, Another Day

One of the other interns said this (the title) today, and I thought it was great. I am quickly going to run out of creative titles for these posts, so stealing quotes from other people throughout the day will probably work quite well.

Today was relatively standard for this summer, other than the 4 hours of sleep that I got. I did have to stop at Harris Teeter (grocery store) on the way to work this morning to grab breakfast and lunch, because I sure wasn't packing one last night, and I ran completely out of breakfast items on Friday before I left.

Work was another day of doing just about nothing, I did review one submittal and do some wire conversions, but that was maybe one hour worth of my day. I spent another hour in the electrical all-team meetings, which are always a little fun, but those two hours are probably the sum total of what I did today at work. I'm only partially complaining, though, because I got payed for 8.5 hours ;)

I ate shit again on the way home from work today, I'm going to have another solid bruise on my behind, and I managed to cut up my right palm, which is great. I realized that I didn't have any bandages, but I crashed pretty close to the Giant (another grocery store) that's on the way home, so I ran in and grabbed bandages and neosporin, which was fine. The gash isn't too bad, more annoying than painful.

I made it home at around 6, and played Breath of the Wild for a couple hours before I went to the store and remedied my no-breakfast situation with burritos and waffles.

There's an escape room tomorrow after work with my coworkers that I'm excited for, but other than that I'm simply back in the groove of the 9-5.
