293: Making a goddamn Dasani Ad

One of my favorite sets of photos from last night's show are the ones of Asa's Dasani water bottle, which was sitting on one of the amps, framed such that there is one of the members of the band in the background, they look like this:

And they're SO GOOD. I'm genuinely super happy with these; they work amazing for the band (one for each member), and I had the idea for this more artsy photo on the fly, so I wasn't sure it was going to work, but these rock.

The issue is the damn bottle. The OVERT product placement is annoying, and it means I won't like to show off these photos (except for right here), which kinda sucks, because I'm very proud of them.

As is obvious from the fact that those photos exist; I started processing my photos from last night tonight, and there are more good-enough-to-consider ones than I was expecting, which is fun.

I have something like 220 good photos, and I categorized them this time, rather than just "picking" them. The categories are Red (my girlfriend), Yellow (Quick Turnover), Green (Inkfish), and Blue (random shit). There are 60-80 photos in the red-yellow-green categories, but only ~20 in the blue category. I did the initial scan-through and picked those good ones, and then took the time to process the blue ones, but I haven't done any of the other ones yet.
