292: High Times
Today has been fantastic. I might actually get this post out before midnight; we;re T-minus 20 minutes at this point.
I got up earlier than intended by ~ 10 minutes because THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF THIS MORNING. It wasn't actually that big of a deal, it was only 10 or so minutes, and it turned back off like it always does.
I did have to get up earlier than usual for a Friday though; I had agreed to meet my partner for this week's 329 project a little early (that class is 12-2, we met at 10). It did let me hit the breakfast window at Campus Market though, so I got a burrito 😄.
That project went actually remarkably smooth. Hayley (massive credit to her) had written most of the code, I did the wiring, and then it... just worked! It still took us a good two and a half hours to get the whole thing operational and do all of the deliverables (report, flowchart, demo videos, etc.), but we would have been way worse off had we started at noon.
Getting to leave that class at 12:45 was great; I went to the library and spent the time hanging out with friends (I sure wasn't doing any more homework), and then went to 308, which was also great.
