284: Sick Day

284: Sick Day
Here's a picture of a firework (different one than the little logo for my blog)

Today was even weirder than Tuesday was, honestly, but mostly in a good way.

When we (both El and I) woke up this morning, we were both still tired (shhh), and both still sick. She was sick enough to call off going to class entirely, and after I found out that my 12-3 lab was cancelled (because the professor was sick), I elected not to go to Italian. I love that class, but not having to get out of bed was so alluring at that moment that I made the sacrifice of one day of class. I was sick yesterday too, and I know that Professoressa Teresiana would be super understanding (she was!).

The weird part of today came from the fact that I didn't have anything I needed to be doing. Without that lab (and having crunched out the pre-lab last night) I didn't have anything I needed to do school-wise, which was lovely. I did a little bit of personal project stuff, namely redesigning the pulleys for my electric board (gonna print those this weekend), and I ordered new bolts for those.

El and I spent most of today sleeping, or at least resting. We watched 3 more episodes of Arcane, which was as amazing as it always was, talked a good bit, and made and ate food. It was all very domestic, and similar to what I talked about in Sunday's post, I would love for a good number of my future days to be like today was (minus the coughing and sniffling and feeling generally miserable, of course).

I really don't have much more to say today; my total steps is almost none, and I spent the vast majority of my time today in one of two beds (mine and hers).
