233:Good enough to improvise, but not good enough to be good at improvising
I had my Italian midterm this morning, which is always done as an interview with the professor, and it went okay, but I needed to have practiced / studied more. I ended up just making things up in response to the questions, which I can almost do, but when I do that on-the-fly instead of with an internal script I end up making grammatical errors, which is a yikes. I think I got like a 27 out of 30, which is totally fine with me, honestly.
Bowling went fine, I was below my average (like a 120 today), and our lane kept failing, so at the end they moved us to a different set of lanes so we could get done in time.
Lab today was fine, except that my lab professor is super condescending about stuff, I had one of my equations written down wrong, and instead of just telling me that she was all nebulous and was like "go check your notes again", and I figured it out, but she's just maliciously helpful, wherein she'll solve your issue, but make you feel like a moron doing so. Very annoying, but we got the lab done within the 3 hours, so not too bad.
I had a new thing for lunch; the Poly Choice thing has changed and is now "thai bowls", but I had a pretty good coconut-tofu curry on pineapple fried rice today from there, which I'll definitely be getting again in the near future, it was great. It was like, real food.
