This is a photo of some of my wind power friends asleep on the floor of the SLO airport. I don't know if I've told the story here, but our flight was delayed by 11 hours last may.

I didn't have Wind Power today, because we took the week off while we were waiting for our parts to be delivered, so I took the opportunity to sleep in laaaaate. I slept until 2:30, which is ~12 hours of sleep, and then did very little today.

I did my laundry and changed my sheets, which was great, and then I worked on my study abroad applications, which are almost done! I need to go talk to the international center, because their system won't let me do anything, it still thinks I'm under 18, and is asking for my parent's signatures, which is a little silly.

After that I am on call, I worked on my Polychats a little (the stupid spreadsheet where I'm supposed to keep track of all of the conversations I have with my residents), and then did something mildly financially irresponsible.

I've been wanting to upgrade my gaming abilities for a long while, and at this point I think I have two big options. I either buy a steam machine when it comes out, or I get an eGPU for my laptop (external graphics processing unit). I was planning on buying the steam machine, because it was supposed to be out by now, but it was delayed, so I'm looking more and more into the other option.

I placed a bid on an eGPU enclosure on Ebay that I know for sure would work with my laptop, and is a pretty new one, so it would be decently futureproof. It doesn't come with the GPU itself, so I'd be buying one of those as well, but I've been looking at my options, and I think I could do pretty alright. The bid I placed is for ~$300 on the enclosure, and then I would spend ~$450 on the GPU, which would get me more power than the steam machine for around what it was supposed to cost, so I think it's a worthwhile venture; and then I can stop thinking about this, because it's something I've wanted to do for forever.

After I was done desk-sitting I played some Terraria with Cody, which was good. We're almost to hard mode, which is (in my opinion) when the game really gets started, and I'm excited for him to get to experience it.

It's now 1:50 AM, and I have to be up by 8 for the Italian Language Exchange thing, which will be awesome, but I am going to be so tired.
