219: RAIN

219: RAIN
I looked and I literally don't have any pictures of rain, so here's a really old picture of my parents in Canyonlands National Park. (2019)

It's raining. And will be for a while. I like it.

Today was pretty good; Lab today was super chill, and we were completely done within time (report and everything), it was great.

I bowled like shit, but that's okay; it was kind of just a filler episode for that class.

Italian is always great.

Wind Power went pretty well, but it honestly just devolved into us talking about EE scheduling and professors, because of all the work we did this last weekend, we're just waiting on the boards to arrive. We probably won't have a meeting at all this weekend, it's a long weekend, so like half the team has already told me they won't be able to make it, and it's just about the best time have a day off.

I got in my mandatory library time today, which was nice. I got to hang out with Asha, who I hadn't seen in a long while, but is a good friend.

I was supposed to do a bunch of work on my carbon board today, maybe even get it finished, but there was a red tag training (simple shops certification) going on, so I couldn't cordon off and use the machines for carbon, which sucks. We'll run it back next week.

Skating there and back got me absolutely soaked, so when I got home at ~7:30 I changed into pajamas and called it a day.

I broke one of my skateboard's fenders earlier in the day, so I spent some time redesigning them and then printed a new one, which I then equipped. I will probably need them tomorrow.

We've also been informed that all of Cal Poly housing is having their power cut, so the very server I'm typing this to is going to go down for most of tomorrow, which sucks, but is something I can deal with. The change of dock seems to have solved my server instability problems, so I can just get it started back up tomorrow and then hopefully be pretty hands-off. We'll see.
