218: Some light gaming

218: Some light gaming
Joshua tree came up today when I was sitting with Chip and Laurel, they're going camping there next weekend, so I gave them some tips.

I'm writing this one at 12:12 AM, because Cody and I have been playing Terraria again (only since 10 PM, so not that long), but it's getting late, and he's still out and about in the caves, so I'm writing this while he's playing. The world is hosted by me, so I need to be online for him to be able to play, which is fun, because it makes it so we're always playing together, but it also means if he's not done, that I'm stuck.

I'm going to keep this one short because of the hour, AGAIN, but there's also not a ton to talk about today.

It was a pretty good Monday, but my Mondays are always chill.

I spent most of today in the library, working and hanging out with squad, except for going to class and going to Wind Power. After Wind Power I went back to the library for a bit and hung out with a friend I hadn't seen in a good while, and then came home at like 8:40 to play Terraria with Cody. He didn't actually get on until close to 10 (he was on "cody time"), but it was a good couple hours.

We fought the first two bosses, and it went pretty well. I'm hopeful we can fight the Eater of Worlds next time, which will be huge, because then we can make significantly better armor and weapons.

It's close to 1AM now, writing this, because the Eye of Cthulu decided to spawn as we were wrapping up, and we kicked its ass. Honestly, we could probably take Skeletron now, even though he whooped us a few days ago.

I love this game, and seeing again with someone who's never seen or heard of any of it is super fun, there's some discovery by proxy going on.

I also sent an email to our department head about my 307 professor and his... ways, and I think something might actually be done about it, which is dope. I hadn't considered that to be a super viable option, because honestly the vibe from the EE department is that everyone just suffers through it all together, but it's apparently a good strategy. The department head got back to me at 9:30 PM, and was largely receptive to my complaints.

I also took the cody-time between 9 and 10 to get more of my homework done, so I'm pretty on top of it right now.

A domani! (that's literally just "on/of tomorrow" in Italian, but it's how you shorten "I'll see you tomorrow", and it's fun to say).
