212: A Citation!

Remember how I was warned that CPPD is stopping people on skateboards? It happened to me today. The cop was nice about it when I asked him, apparently it's an order from the top. He told me he though it was "fuckin stupid", exact words, so I at know at least one of CPPDs officers isn't a shit. He didn't give me a citation, which was great (I woulda been a wee bit upset), but apparently some of them have been giving them out.

He essentially told me to just get off of it whenever I see a cop, or wait for them to enter a building or whatever. Kind of ridiculous.

He said it's because they categorize any micro-mobility device that isn't a bicycle as the same thing, so everything from electric scooters to skateboards to onewheels are getting lumped together. People have been (justifiably) complaining about the electric scooters, because they are menaces, but that's hitting the rest of us too, apparently.

Today was good, but busy. I didn't even do that much homework, but I had a bunch of other busy-ness things to get done, and on 6-ish hours of sleep isn't the best way to be doing it.

It's 11:20 now, which is relatively early for me to be going to bed, but I am zonked.

By extension, this post is going to be short.
