93: 2 In The Morning Again?!
This is a photo of one of the bells at the San Luis Obispo mission, in downtown, which was founded in 1772. It's kind of wild to think that there were already people colonizing California when the 13 colonies weren't even independent yet.

It's 1:54 AM right now. I need to get better at time management.

The main reason it's 1:55 as I write this is that some of my residents and I set up my room as a theater and watched an episode of Our Beloved Summer, a k-drama romance that I watched at the end of last year, absolutely loved, and then recommended to them. There's a good crew of 4 of them that I've hung out with more than the rest, and they have been watching through Our Beloved Summer together, which is honestly awesome.

They watched two episodes earlier in the night, and then I was going to join them for the third, when I had the thought to just use my room. I have a projector, a pretty good sound system, and a couch, after all.

We rotated the couch 90 degrees, so it was in the middle of the room, but faced the window (which was the projector screen in this case), and then I just sat on my bed, and it honestly worked really well. The sound stage wasn't perfect, because the speakers are at my desk, and the "screen" I hung up was actually a big shower curtain, which doesn't have very good reflective properties, but the show was still amazing. I know everything that happens, of course, so I wasn't really on the edge of my seat, but re-watching one of my favorite shows with friends of mine (also residents, but also friends; it's only a weird dynamic if we make it weird, and thus far it isn't!) has been really nice.

We did start that third episode (episode four out of sixteen) just after midnight, and they're an hour long each, so I had set myself up for failure from the get-go, and honestly that's okay.
