196: Wind Power go brrrrrrr
Today was good!
I woke up later than I should have (but sleep is just so nice), and ended up getting out of bed and rolling up to the EE building at like 11:45, to make sure our rooms for the day were unlocked, and they were!!
I had breakfast delivered by a robot (!) because I didn't have time to grab it on the way, which was honestly quite nice. The transit time is high, the little guys don't go very fast, but it got me my einsteins delivered right to the EE building, and only cost me an extra $3 in monopoly dollars (which I have plenty of), so it was worth it. The delivery robots are honestly a job that I'm okay giving to the clankers, they're cute, and it's a job that would otherwise be humanizing and inefficient.
Wind Power today was remarkably effective; we might actually be done?! soon, which is awesome. The goal is to have them all done by 3 weeks from today, but we have so much person-power that we might have it done next Saturday instead, which would be so helpful.
After wind power I came home and worked on the photos from last night, which have turned out great. I think I ended up with a solid 125 or so good photos from the ~1600 I took, which are pretty good numbers to be honest. It was a difficult shooting scenario, but I adapted, and many of the photos came out great.
After that I ate dinner and worked on my Avatar: The Last Airbender Magic The Gathering deck, because almost all of the cards I ordered have arrived (I'm literally waiting on ONE MORE), so I can hopefully have the deck ready for tuesday/wednesday, so I can play it, which I'm really looking forwards to.
We had our Arcane watch party again, much earlier than last night, which was great. We finished the first season, so we're now halfway. It's a really really good show, ethically and morally complicated, with complex but well-written characters, and the whole thing is beautifully animated, I strongly recommend it.
