189: "Bad Day"
There's this great concept that's been kicking around in my head for a while that I'm going to call "the constancy of human experience".
I'm not the origin of the idea, but I don't remember where I got it from (Freakonomics maybe). The concept is that regardless of the relative ease or comfort of someone's life, they still experience the full range of human emotions and have struggles. One of my posts from the summer was titled "It's a charmed life, but we still experience the range of human emotions" because that was a quote I heard that day, this is the same concept, I'm just talking about it again because it's on my mind.
