149: Saturday?

149: Saturday?
Here's another foggy photo from the original set, because I didn't get around to the photos from the last couple days today.

Today has been strange, because it is a Saturday, but it's felt like a Sunday the whole time. I had to actively convince myself that I didn't have to wake up early tomorrow (which I don't!).

Today was very chill. I went to the SLO railroad museum with mom and her parents, which was pretty cool. My grandpa loved it, and I'm a pretty big fan of trains myself, so it was neat.

After that we went to House of Bagels, which was AMAZING, as I knew it was. My dad discovered House of Bagels one of the times he was here, and we picked it up for the road on the way home at the end of my first year. I hadn't been back since, but it did not disappoint.

We drove over to the trestle bridge via the bottom of campus, so I could show my family some of it they hadn't seen yet, and my grandpa could see the cool railroad bridge that's over there. They had to catch a flight at like 5 pm in Santa Barbara, but it's far-ish, so everybody left after that.

I then cleaned my room, did my laundry (because it is going to be PACKED for the next little while), and did some RA duties. I made and hung up the posters for the event I mentioned in yesterday's post, which will be fun.

I also hung my actual posters in the hallway, which was fun. I want my hallway to have more decorations in it, so hopefully people see my posters and get inspired to hang up decorations of their own.

I called my (other) grandpa, because I hadn't talked to him in a while, which was nice, and then I played some video games with Seth, which was lovely as always.

We played quite a bit more The Crew: Motorfest; it's a great game for multiplayer like that, and I really love playing video games with my family and friends. It's been such a core part of how I hang out with people kind of my whole life, and I'm definitely not letting it go now.

I didn't do much schoolwork today, but there isn't really much that I need to do, so it'll be alright. I'll work on some of the more pressing items tomorrow, but then I have enough time this week to get everything done reasonably on time, which is great.
