147: Actual new photos!
This is a photo from Morro Bay today. I didn't go through any of the others yet, but I will!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today was great.

I woke up early 😦, but it was alright. I had half a monster, skated over to the hotel (took ~30 mins, something like 5 miles), and then ate the free hotel breakfast with my Mom and grandparents, which was not bad.

We lit some time on fire, and then drove over to Morro Bay and walked around (hence Morro Bay pictures). We got back from that at like noon, and I skated back. I barely made it (the board gave out literally like 10 yards from the entrance), so I'm going to probably take the charger tomorrow, so I can zip both there and back. I cleaned my room a little (by which I mean put away the food we bought at Costco yesterday, most of it is stacked on top of my wardrobe), and burned time until 3, at which point we went downtown for dinner, because it's thanksgiving.

Our reservation was actually at 3:45 at Luna Red, so we wandered around downtown (the little creek area is very cute, and the city has their christmas decorations up) until it was time to go in.

Luna Red was fantastic for thanksgiving. It's normally a latin american fusion restaurant, so they had a great combination of classic thanksgiving staples and random stuff, all on a buffet, and it was great. I ate a lot of hummus and chips, because the yellow hummus was amazing. We had an hour and 45 minutes to eat, which is a long enough time that we effectively did it in two sets, and it was great. It was already dark when we left at 5:30, and we walked around downtown a little more, since the lights were on. I had my camera, and there were some great shots from that too (coming soon!).

I got dropped off at home after that, at ~6, and the had some work do to (lame!). I worked on my little script for the Italian presentation, which required me to learn a whole bunch of new words to describe Lorenzo de Medici, which was kinda fun honestly. I also did some research for Wind Power (we're having trouble finding connectors that work for our use case), and then at my mom's request, worked on my christmas list, which was also just research, but kinda fun.

It's only 10:55, but we're doing the same thing for breakfast tomorrow (the skating is fun, and it worked great, so I don't see why not). I'll take my charger tomorrow, and leave the board plugged in while we're gone so I can skate back quick(er), which will be fun. I don't know how long we'll be gone tomorrow, but probably most of the day.

We're driving to Solvang, which is a danish-inspired town ~60 miles from SLO, and I've never been, so we're going to go check it out. It'll be cool. I am going to bring my laptop and stuff with me tomorrow, so I can maybe get something done on the drive (probably processing photos tbh) or there, if we end up with lots of extra time.
