139: Weird Bollocks

139: Weird Bollocks
Here's a really terrible photo I took today, as I arrived at my 11-12PM class. I really should have held the camera steadier, or taken more photos, but this is what we've got.

I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I'm a huge fan of audiobooks, especially for transit and listening in the background of purely manual tasks (housecleaning, for example). I hadn't listened to one in a good while, but I learned that a long-running low fantasy series I had been listening to a while back got a new installment, so I checked it out from the library and have been listening to it.

The series in question is called the Rivers of London, and it's a 9-book (at the moment) series about Peter Grant, a london constable, who gets himself into lots of "weird bollocks", hence the title. It's a "there's magic in the real world all around you if you can find it" type thing, and I honestly love it. The audio cast is fantastic, but they are all british, so I've found myself thinking in a british accent recently, which is very strange and kind of fun.
