This is a photo of the old robotics controller I'm using to fix my skateboard, along with the motors, my laptop, my phone, a pair of my headphones, and my speaker, all on the desk in the Wind Power room.

I don't know if my time management skills are truly down the drain, or if it's just that I have so many more things going on in my life than I have in the past, so my lack of time management is now much more obvious and problematic.

Either way, yikes. I haven't yet missed any assignments or midterms, but if anything is optional, it's getting skipped, and if there's an easy way through something (like say, just copying the answers for a homework assignment), I'm taking it. I don't have the time to take the long (and better) way in any of those cases, and it feels like I haven't had time to do my unproductive hobbies in genuinely so long.

By "unproductive hobbies" I mean things that have no output or quality of life impact. For example, fixing my electric skateboard is a productive hobby, because if I can get that thing back up and running, my life gets measurably easier in one specific way.

I have been playing a significant amount of Magic in the last little while, and I'll be playing even more on Friday night, so I am actually getting to do one of my unproductive hobbies, but it really doesn't feel like it.
