124: Troubleshooting Jail
This is the mirror that got broken on Friday night (it's now gone!), someone wrote this message on it, which I thought was funny.

I'm writing this significantly later than I wanted to (it's 11PM) because my 3D printer decided it was going to throw a fit today. It is partially my fault, and somewhat of a long-running problem that I just reaggravated, but I didn't wanna :(

The issue is with one of my nozzles, when printing with some filaments I have to change to a hardened steel nozzle, but that nozzle has been a problem child the entire time. I think the original problem was some wood filament (which actually has wood dust in it, but is cool), the nozzle clogged up, and I haven't used it or the wood filament since. I got some glass-fiber filament that I wanted to try out, because it's supposed to be lighter and stronger, so I switched back to the hardened nozzle, and ended up spending like an hour and a half troubleshooting it. It clogged, obviously, but I couldn't even get it fixed. I switched back to the stainless nozzle, which should be totally fine, but the next time I buy anything from Bambu I'll buy a new hardened nozzle, they're only like $12, and the one I have is all done.

I think I burned my hand a little bit while I was messing with it though, because one of the times, I removed the nozzle from the printer while it was hot and pulled the filament out (to hopefully pull out some of the clog with it) and it sprayed hot goop at me. I had turned the heat way up to loosen up the inside, and apparently something in there burns or evaporates, because there was some built-up pressure, and it went all over my hand. It wasn't a ton of goop, but I think my left thumb got burned (by which I mean it hurts a tiny bit, not actually a worry).
