356: A small, flightless bird
This is not a small, nor flightless, bird, but it's the best I've got. This is the post-festival picture of one of our "water-fowl"

Todays post is going to be a lot like yesterdays.

El and I got out of bed around 11:45, showered, and then went upstairs. We learned that my mom had made waffles (hell yeah), so we had those for breakfast.

I started to feel kinda like shit around then, I think probably something I ate disagreeing with me, so I didn't eat much waffle.

I had to pack today, so after El and I ate breakfast we started our laundry from the week and started working on that. It was slow going, because it didn't need to be fast and we were... frequently distracted.

We talked to best friend Simone on the phone while we were "packing" (doing nothing, not an innuendo this time), which was great. Love talking to Simone.

The title of the post is about The Dodo, which is a relatively fancy restaurant that we went to for dinner, at Seth's request. El and I both didn't eat a ton, because she's still in recovery of whatever it is she's got from this week, and I was still feeling pretty blegh.

The Dodo is known for its desserts, and the cakes they had were fantastic. We got them to-go, because they're all huge, so I didn't have my (small) helping of cake until later.
