339: SOLUTIONS
I mentioned yesterday that I was a little worried about the 329 final this morning, but I suspected that I didn't have to be worried, and boy was I right. That final took me literally 17 minutes, including writing my name and then getting up and turning in the final afterwards.
After that final I went to the library and did a joyous amount of nothing, by which I mean played video games. It was a good bit of fun, because El was doing the same, and we were at the big monitors on the 2nd floor. I'd brought my controller with me, planning on not doing work, so I decided to see if Forza Horizon 6 would load up on my internal graphics, because that was going to be important for the summer, and it gave me a ton of shit for it. The textures weren't loading in, and it took me a good couple hours of troubleshooting to solve the problem, because it became clear the only option I had left (after changing every single available setting, updating my computer, and restarting both the game and my laptop over and over again) was uninstalling and reinstalling the game, so I did just that.
It took a couple hours, it's a huge game, so I actually did some work in the meantime (did one of my 3 Italian Film essays), and then played some Terraria as well.
Reinstalling did completely solve the problem though, so I played some Forza for a while, which was rad. I'm really glad it runs well enough on my laptop for me not to worry about taking the graphics card with me either home or to Europe, because that would be crazy behavior.
I went home and was tasked with printing some stuff for Brian, but of course my printer decided to shit it's pants, so it took me a couple hours to get the prints to stick (it's running right now, if it fails overnight that's just gonna be how it is), and then I went over to El's.
