307: Oh Boy

307: Oh Boy
This is a photo from the drive, which was surprisingly pleasant.

I got ~5.5 hours of sleep last night, so I think I was relatively cranky all day today, but the happenings definitely did not help.

Everything has been resolved now, as I write this, but it was very annoying.

The day started out great though, honestly. I'd stayed at El's (see my previous writings about making bad decisions and them having no real consequences), we got up at ~9, showered, and then I grabbed all of my stuff and headed out just before 10.

I was getting picked up at 10:30 in the parking lot at cal poly, but it was really a 10:15 to 10:30 window, so I was on a little bit of a crunch. I ordered breakfast from VGs when I left El's, but when I got there I found they'd cancelled the order. The person behind the counter was really nice though, so I talked to them about it. I had ordered two breakfast burritos, and they only had one, so they cancelled the order, but apparently right as I made it there they found a couple more. The counter person (surely there's a better word for them but I'm tired) had me re-do the system and order it again, and then warmed them up. It was at this point I learned that the burritos are literally just microwaved, which was... disheartening, but they were still good burritos.

I had lost a few minutes to that small mess, but I only had to do like one thing at home (put my skateboard away and change the contents of my backpack for the trip), so I was able to get everything squared away and made it to the car at 10:20. I was the last one there of the group, but the rest of them are all very on-time, and they didn't seem to mind the 5 minutes.
